Santosh Sarang, a Journalist & Social Activist is selected for South Asian Climate Change Award (SACCA) Fellowship 2013. Presently, he is working as a Sub-Editor in Hindi newspaper Prabhat Khabar, Muzaffarpur edition. Santosh Sarang is the Founder of Appan Samachar (an all-women news channel.). CNN-IBN group awarded him the prestigious award "Citizen Journalist Award" in 2008 and Bihar Rajya Anuvrat Shikhak Sansad awarded the "Anuvrat Samman" in 2004 for the best relief work during flood. Santosh also writes script & anchors for the programmes "Prayavaran Darshan", "India Innovates" & "Goan Ghar" of Doordarshan Patna. He worked in North-East hindi leading newspaper "Purvanchal Prahari" as a Sub-Editor, as a Senior Correspondent in monthly magazine "Time Pass". About 200 articles, published in Dainik Hindustan, Dainik Jagran, Prabhat Khabar, Aaj, Punjab Kesari, Navbharat Times, Sandhya Prahari, Sopan Step etc. Santosh Sarang born on 05 October 1973 at Kalapahad in Vaishali district, Bihar. He established a trust "Mission Eye International Service" for social cause. The dream project of Santosh is "Azad Nirman Asharam", an orphanage project.
